It rained heavily over night and the snow line appears to have gone up to about 600m, and then it looks thin on the ground. It is 6.5 degrees in Langdale and the Westerly wind is gusting to 30 miles an hour at valley level. The buttresses around Bowfell are stripped, I think Gable might just be holding on to conditions for easier mixed lines, I don't think Engineers slab will be hoared but you never know.
